Education Dept. Children and Youth ministries
The vision of the Education Department of New Hope Downtown is to raise up the next generation of young disciples (and families) that move with a gospel-centered missional spirituality. We believe that the more we know God the more we will come to love Him. We teach our kids Christ-centered lessons with love, laughs, and heart. It is our hope that the seeds of the Gospel will be planted in their hearts and will spread deep roots in their lives. It is our hope that our kids will have dignity and integrity in their identity as children of God! We focus on encouraging an environment of worship and spiritual growth to raise the next generation of God’s people.
Our Education Department consists of 3 classes and one infant/toddler care service.
Young Apologists (high school students agas 14 and up)
Branches (grade school students ages 8-13)

OUR MINISTRIES
YOUNG APOLOGISTS is our Youth Group Ministry for high school students. Our curriculum focuses on teaching our students the basics of reading the Bible, investigative Bible study, apologetics, and critical thinking. It is our vision to prepare our youths to have confidence in the faith they believe in and to equip them with the tools to defend the faith and be able to think critically out in the world.
BRANCHES is our grade school level class under our Hope Kids Children’s Ministry. Our curriculum focuses on reading the Bible in context and having deep discussions that are gospel centered and activities that are related to their lessons.
VINE BUDS is our preschool / kindergarten class. Our curriculum focuses on teaching and reinforcing the stories of the Bible with lessons that are Gospel centered. Lessons are enriched with emphasis on prayer, Bible memorization, and crafts.
SPROUTS is our new infant/toddler care service that we are planning to provide child care support to allow parents to focus on their worship time. The Lord has blessed us with a growing number parents with infants and toddlers and we want to support them by looking after the needs of the children and parents during worship service. We are looking for covenant members to serve as volunteers for this service. You can find more details and info on requirements, please check out the signup form on the QR code.
