SPIRITUAL FORMATION CONFERENCE 2025
REST
experiencing god’s peace in a restless world
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?”
Jesus invites us to come to find rest in him: “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30, MSG)
In this world that seethes with turmoil, genuine peace seems unattainable. In this conference, Dr. Siang-Yang Tan will:
Show us how we can transform stress into rest by God’s grace;
Help us understand what is the true nature of rest;
Challenge us to experience rest through nine key disciplines;
Appreciate the true meaning of eternal rest through the salvation of Christ
